SCROOMS Grove Locations: NPC Landmarks and Task Routes
Find Leo, Julian, Halden, and the Bluestone path by recognizable landmarks, then choose the destination that matches your active task.
The most useful early SCROOMS Grove locations are Leo near spawn, Julian's wooden merchant stall, Halden's campfire with red tents, and the path toward Bluestone Approach. Match the landmark to the task you are trying to finish before choosing a route.
Choose a landmark by your current objective
| Task | Destination | Landmark |
|---|---|---|
| Get the starter tool or turn in the first catch | Leo | Spawn and question-mark marker |
| Sell a catch or buy the tutorial guitar | Julian | Wooden merchant stall |
| Start or turn in The Next Step | Halden | Log, campfire, red tents |
| Find the outward route | Bluestone Approach | Trees thin and terrain becomes cold stone |
The same Grove trip can have very different destinations. If your task names Leo, heading toward the caverns will not replace the turn-in. If it names the equipment action after a purchase, the next destination is your bag menu rather than another NPC location.
Keep the campfire and the merchant distinct
Halden's log, fire, and red tents identify his quest camp. Julian's stall identifies the selling and shop destination. These are different services even though both sit within the opening area.
For Halden's statue quest, the landmarks expand to Cal's house, the Luca-and-Bennie house pair, the river-side brown tree, the back of the Seller's Shop, and Shax's lift side. Use the statue checklist when those five stops become the active task rather than treating this NPC directory as a complete map.
Use terrain changes for the outward path
As the path leads toward Bluestone Approach, the trees thin and the ground changes to cold stone. These cues help you recognize that you are moving out of the starting Grove toward the caverns route.
If the task still points to an early NPC, finish that interaction before committing to the onward trip. The quest overview connects the rewards, and the Songkeeper’s Grove overview explains how the area fits into the first session. This location page is the quick choice of landmark and purpose when you already know which task you need.
Use the Grove landmarks in the official SCROOMS game to orient your current task.
