SCROOMS Songkeeper’s Grove: NPCs, Tasks, and Paths
Orient around Leo, Julian, and Halden, connect the Grove’s task rewards, and recognize the path’s scenery change toward Bluestone Approach.
Songkeeper’s Grove is SCROOMS' starting area. Use Leo for the starter instrument and first quest, Julian for sales and the introductory guitar, and Halden for the statue task that rewards the Ocarina.
Build an opening route around three NPC jobs
| Destination | Landmark | Reason to visit |
|---|---|---|
| Leo | Spawn and question-mark marker | Starter instrument and first turn-in |
| Julian | Wooden merchant stall | Sell catches and make the opening guitar purchase |
| Halden | Log, campfire, and red tents | Start and finish the five-statue quest |
| Bluestone Approach | Thinning trees and cold stone terrain | Orient toward the caverns route |
These destinations make the Grove more than a place to repeat captures. Leo gets you into the catching loop, Julian gives catches a currency use, and Halden introduces song utility. If you want a clear opening route, finish each task in that order before spreading attention across distant paths.
Use familiar landmarks before looking for a region exit
Leo's spawn marker, Julian's wooden stall, and Halden's campfire help orient you. Match the destination to the current Quest Log instruction rather than walking toward the next region whenever a task changes.
The Grove also supplies an area collection goal. Its Index page contains creatures ranging from Common entries to Koroom at Fabled. A missing creature card and a missing NPC conversation are different reasons to remain here, so choose the one that advances your current goal.
Recognize the route toward Bluestone
The path out of the Grove leads toward Bluestone Approach as the trees thin and the ground changes to cold stone. Treat those scenery cues as orientation toward the caverns, rather than assuming arrival automatically satisfies every later entry condition.
If you still need the Ocarina, finish Halden's task before turning an exploration trip into a detour from the reward. For practical navigation, the Grove locations page pairs landmarks with task purposes. For the next path's scenery cues, use Bluestone Approach.
