SCROOMS Quests Guide: Opening Tasks to the Ocarina

Last updated 2026-10-11Unofficial player article

Follow the opening quest sequence, finish NPC turn-ins, complete the guitar tutorial, and choose the route that unlocks Ocarina utility.

SCROOMS' early quest route moves from Getting Started! through the sale-and-guitar tutorial to The Next Step. Follow that sequence to turn a free catching instrument into an equipped upgrade, then unlock the Ocarina through Halden's statue task.

SCROOMS quest and gear progressionThe player discusses how equipment and collection fit into onward progression.

Choose the reward that supports your next session

Early quest rewards by purpose
MilestoneRequired jobWhat it opens
Getting Started!Receive the lute, catch, return to LeoThe opening catching loop
Sale and guitar tutorialSell, buy, equip, close the bagAn active introductory upgrade
The Next StepFind Halden, respect five statues, returnOcarina song utility

The early rewards serve different jobs. The lute begins catching, the guitar introduces equipment spending, and the Ocarina supplies song utility. If you want travel options, continuing the quest route is more directly useful than spending the entire session comparing catching tools.

Finish turn-ins as well as visible objectives

Getting Started! asks for the instrument, a first catch, and a return to Leo. The Next Step asks you to find Halden, pay respects at five Grove Statues, and return to Halden. In each case, the named return visit is part of completion.

Keep the Quest Log open long enough to read the exact objective after a milestone. A captured creature, a purchase, or a visited statue may be progress without being the final turn-in. That distinction is especially useful when you have already done the interesting part and the next instruction seems easy to overlook.

Keep collection trips connected to tasks

Before selling broadly, read any creature request in your current quest. A sale can fund equipment, but turning in a requested catch can serve a different progression goal. Choose the goal before confirming the transaction.

For the first route, use Getting Started!. When Leo sends you onward, use The Next Step walkthrough. If the statue search is the obstacle, the landmark list gives all five locations without requiring a particular visit order.

Read the active objective in the SCROOMS Roblox experience before choosing a task from this route.
